When we first encounter Frozen, it’s easy to be swept away by its spectacle, unforgettable songs, and lovable characters. But beneath the snow lies something far warmer: a story about the courage it takes to be true to oneself and the power of love to melt fear.

At its heart, Frozen is the tale of two sisters—Anna and Elsa—separated not by distance, but by misunderstanding and fear. Elsa’s gift, or curse as she perceives it, reflects how many of us hide parts of ourselves because they make us feel different. Anna’s relentless optimism and desire to communicate reminds us that love—whether familial, romantic, or self-directed—can bridge even the widest gaps of isolation.

In the end, Elsa realizes that the true “magic one” is Anna: her ability to love unconditionally and connect with others is the real magic. Together, they learn to heal their inner child, resolve family trauma, and forgive.

Our hope is that this story inspires each of us to embrace our differences and use the unique gifts we have been given to “fill the world with light and love.”

Kelly was last seen on our stage as Alice Beineke in our production of The Addams Family. Other favorite credits include: Jovie (Elf The Musical), Molly Brown (The Unsinkable Molly Brown), Jerusha Abbott (Daddy Long Legs), The Baroness (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Gabrielle (Cinderella) and Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical The Musical) with Hale Centre Theatre along with Katherine (Newsies) and Jerusha Abbott (Daddy Long Legs) with Hale Center Theatre Orem. She graduated from UVU with a degree in Acting Performance and is the Owner and Coach at The Confidence Academy. “When you focus on the good, the good gets better!”

Kelly is thrilled to return to the Centre Stage for this production of Frozen! Some of her favorite performing credits include: Guys & Dolls (Adelaide) and AIDA (Amneris) with Hale Centre Theatre; Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) with Utah Shakespeare Festival Tour, as well as performing with Walt Disney World, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Animated Voice work for various commercials and children’s shows. Kelly holds a BFA in Acting from Brigham Young University and serves as COO at CRP Leadership. “This show is dedicated to my husband, Clint, and to our four beautiful children: Lily, Linden, Will, and Tommy - May you always see magic wherever you go, and fill this world with light and love.”

Returning to the Centre Stage! Ethan was last seen in our production of The Prince of Egypt as Moses. Other favorite credits include: The Principal Wife (Benjamin) with The Covey Center and Bright Star with Lehi Arts Center. Ethan is the 2019 Jimmy Award Winner for Best Actor and is pursuing a career in the arts. He is represented by Luber Roklin Entertainment in LA/NYC and Talent Management Group in Utah.

Darick is thrilled to be back on the Hale Centre Theatre Stage. Some of his favorite credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Beast), The Nutty Professor (Julius Kelp/Buddy Love), Hello, Dolly! (Cornelius Hackl), Bright Star (Jimmy Ray Dobbs), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho) with HCT, as well as National Tours of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Into The Woods, and Falsettos. “Sure love ya, EESJLEA.”

Alan joins our production with an extensive background in aerial work; his many credits include: Finding Neverland and Around the World in 80 Days with HCT; Fighter (aerial chains) at Capitol Theater, duo straps at Lands Rocks Music Festival, Odyssey Dance, and straps at Aeris Aerial Arts. He holds a BA in Spanish, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, as well as an MBA from the University of Utah, where he is currently an MBA candidate. He works as a physical therapist and aerial coach. “Reindeer ARE better than people!”

Returning to the Centre Stage! Ian is thrilled to be back at HCT after last appearing in The Magician’s Elephant. Other favorite performing credits include: The Play That Goes Wrong with The Ruth; The Foreigner, Pride & Prejudice, and Spookley the Square Pumpkin with HCTO; Godspell and James and the Giant Peach with UVU; The Normal Heart with An Other Theater Company; and Fun Home with Wasatch Theater Company. Ian graduated from Utah Valley University with a BFA in Theater Arts with an Acting Emphasis. “Thank you, Gavin and Puck, for your support!

Sarah is thrilled to be back on the HCT stage! She was recently seen in our productions of A Christmas Carol 2024 and The Magician’s Elephant. Other favorite credits include: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Miss Jones) and Oliver! (Mrs. Sowerberry/Mrs. Bedwin) with HCTO as well as The Sound of Music (Mother Abbess) with SCERA. She holds a Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from SUU and a Master’s in Vocal Performance from BYU and works as an Adjunct commercial voice faculty at UVU. “All the love to my dear family and especially my husband.”

Making his HCT debut! Brae is excited to join the Hale Centre Theatre family with this production of Frozen. Favorite performing credits include: Cinderella (Footman) with The Ruth; My Fair Lady (Harry) with HCTO; and Newsies (Oscar Delancey) with Sundance Summer Theatre. Brae is currently a senior at BYU, studying in the Music Dance Theatre program, and enjoys filmmaking and screenplay writing in his spare time. “Trying to change minds through the power of storytelling.”

Tanner is thrilled to be back on the Centre Stage! Recent performing credits include: The Shanghai Disneyland Resort; Flowers for Miss Harris (Bob/Andre) and Cinderella (Jean Michel) with The Ruth; A Christmas Carol (Young Scrooge) and Matilda The Musical (Rudolfo/The Doctor/Escapologist) with HCTO; as well as performing with Sundance Summer Theatre and West Valley Arts. Ryland’s favorite credits include A Christmas Carol 2023 & 2024 and Newsies (Roosevelt) with HCT; The Ballad of Cat Ballou (Cuthbert) with Jackson Hole Playhouse; and Newsies and Welcome to Dangerville (Mayor Dingus) with Pickleville Playhouse. Ryland has worked with several theater companies in Utah and around the United States, including The Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, New York, and Tuacahn Amphitheater. He is currently studying Public Relations, Communications, and Theatre at UVU. “For Grandma and Grandpa Despain, two of my biggest supporters.”

Dustin is tickled to be back on the HCT stage! His last appearance at HCT was as Roger Hopewell in our recent production of The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. Prince is thrilled to be back on the Centre Stage! Previously, he was seen in our productions of Footloose, The Prince of Egypt, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Nutty Professor, and Newsies. “With great power comes great responsibility” - Uncle Ben. 

Thrilled to be back on the HCT stage! Phil was most recently seen in our productions of Footloose. He was also a quarter-finalist for America’s Got Talent 2024. Other credits include: The Prince of Egypt, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Nutty Professor, Elf the Musical, and Newsies with HCT, as well as A Chorus Line (Richie) with West Valley Arts. Born and raised in southeast Georgia, he graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor’s in Dance Performance and Choreography. “Thank you to God, my family, and friends for supporting me in achieving my dreams!”

A familiar face to HCT audiences, Evan was recently seen in our productions of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Nutty Professor (Chad), Hello, Dolly! (Ambrose Kemper) and Fiddler on the Roof. Other favorite credits include: Grease and Fiddler on the Roof with Moonlight Amphitheatre; The Music Man (Tommy Djilas) with HCTO; Cinderella and Footloose with Sundance Summer Theater, and BYU’s Young Ambassadors (2020 - 2022). He recently graduated from BYU with a Masters in Professional Accountancy and works with Technical Accounting Consultant with Connor Group.

Brandon served as a performing missionary in Nauvoo for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is attending UVU, studying psychology. He attended the University of Utah for Modern Dance, Western Wyoming College for Musical Theater, and Utah State for Political Science, and works as a Psychic Medium and Owner of Vā Studios, a Private Tattoo Studio in Salt Lake City specializing in Austronesian/Celtic Tribal. Dancing yet again on the Centre Stage, Gabrielle was last seen in our recent productions of Footloose, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Nutty Professor, and Hello, Dolly!. She was also a member of BYU’s Young Ambassadors from 2022 to 2024 and recently graduated from the MDT program at Brigham Young University. “That was a Jojo’s reference!”

Tally is excited to perform on the Centre Stage after last appearing in our productions of Finding Neverland and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! Some of her favorite performing credits include: Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney) and Into the Woods (Rapunzel) in her hometown of Los Angeles, California. Tally is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Utah with a minor in Modern Dance. “I hope you'll give your loved ones a warm hug after the show... and maybe go build a snowman together if the weather allows!”

Je Eun is thrilled to be back on the HCT stage! Favorite performing credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Hello, Dolly (Minnie Fay), and The Little Mermaid (Adella); Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Ariel), All Shook Up (Sylvia), Little Women (Marmee), and Mary Poppins (Mrs. Corey). Returning to the Centre Stage, Beyonca was last seen in our productions of Footloose and The Prince of Egypt. Other performing credits include: Little Shop of Horrors, Curtains, and Holiday Inn with Olympus High School. She is currently studying in the UVU MDT Program. Beyonca has been studying classical piano since age 4; she has competed in multiple competitions and performed with numerous symphonies until age 18.

Brookelynn is thrilled to be back on the Hale Centre stage! Her favorite credits include: Footloose, The Prince of Egypt, The Addams Family, and Elf The Musical with Hale Centre Theatre; and AIDA, West Side Story, Sister Act, Bright Star, Matilda The Musical, Something Rotten, and Seussical The Musical with CenterPoint Legacy Theatre. “Love and aloha to all my family and friends!”

Bailey is honored to appear on the Centre Stage once again! Notable performing credits include: Cinderella with HCT; Jersey Boys (Lorraine) and Cinderella (Dance Captain) with The Ruth; Godspell with BYU, as well as performing and serving as president of the BYU Young Ambassadors. Bailey is studying in the Music Dance Theater program at BYU. She also teaches theatre in the HCT Education program and at COPA Utah. “Feeling lucky to be part of this show, but luckiest to be doing it with Luke. Love you lots!”

Whitney was most recently seen on the HCT stage in last season’s production of May Way All as Stephanie. Her other credits include: Singin’ in the Rain (Kathy Selden), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Truly Scrumptious), Guys & Dolls, Mary Poppins, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Sister Act, and Oklahoma! with HCT; Universal Studios Beijing as a singer; The national tour of Spamalot; The Legend of El Diablo with Pickleville Playhouse; Singer at Universal Studios Beijing, Singer/Dancer with Holland America Line; and Juanito Bandito’s Christmas Carol with Pickleville Playhouse. Whitney graduated from BYU with a BFA in Music Dance Theatre. "Thanks to Tyler and little Owen for letting this new mom still do what she loves."

Summer spent two years performing at Tokyo Disney Resort with several of her favorite Disney characters. She earned a BA in Musical Theatre from Weber State University. Returning to the Centre Stage! Heidi was last seen in our productions of Footloose and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Recently, she completed her first year at BYU and is represented by Talent Management Group. “I'm grateful to my teachers at Utah COPA, artistic dance project, and everyone else who helped me grow as a dancer. Sharing this beautiful story on stage is a dream come true. I'm so incredibly thankful to be a part of it!”

Abigail is thrilled to return to the Centre Stage! She was most recently seen in our productions of Footloose, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and The Nutty Professor. Other performing credits include: Cinderella with The Ruth. By day, Abigail works as a nail technician. “I am endlessly grateful to my family and friends for their unwavering love and support- your belief in me makes every step on this stage possible.”

Returning to the Centre Stage! Some of Liv’s favorite performing credits include: The Prince of Egypt with HCT; An American in Paris with The Ruth; Newsies with Sundance Summer Theater 2024, and UVU’s Repertory Ballet Ensemble 2019-2024. Olivia graduated from UVU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with an emphasis in Ballet. “I’d like to thank my family, friends, and mentors who have supported me through every step of my journey; this one's for you guys!”

Katey is thrilled to join the company of Frozen after last appearing in our production of Footloose! An accomplished performer, Katey has performed with BYU’s Young Ambassadors as well as spending 4 years on the BYU Ballroom Dance Touring Company. She is also a 3x U.S. National Amateur Cabaret Champion and loves dancing with her husband, with whom she currently holds that title. Stage Credits include The Phantom of the Opera (ballet core) with Provo High School. Katey recently graduated from BYU with a BFA in dance and a minor in the School of Family Life, and teaches various genres of dance at Charisma Dance Studio.

Making her HCT debut! Eliza is beyond grateful to join the company of Frozen! Some of her favorite performing credits include: Christmas with the Tabernacle Choir featuring Kelli O’Hara at the Conference Center, Revolve at Randall L. Jones Theatre, and Constellations: Tethered Souls at Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre. Eliza graduated from Southern Utah University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Dance with a minor in Early Childhood Development and works as a dance teacher, choreographer, and small business owner, which she pursues with her father. “Find the Joy in the Journey.”

Sophia’s favorite credits include: The Addams Family and Newsies with Hale Centre Theatre; A Chorus Line (Bebe) with West Valley Arts; The Nutcracker (Clara) with Hot Shots Dance Studio; Legally Blonde (Elle Woods) and The Hello Girls (Grace Banker) with Pleasant Grove Theatre Works. Sophia is currently a student at the University of Utah, pursuing a double major in the Musical Theatre BFA program, and in the English Honors degree. “Lead with love.”

Returning to the Centre Stage! Kayla was last seen in our production of The Prince of Egypt. She is a recent graduate of IAMT, The Institute of American Musical Theatre. “Everything happens for a reason.”

Christina is thrilled to be back on the HCT stage! Her HCT credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Hello, Dolly!, The Wizard of Oz, Seussical The Musical, and Tarzan. She was a principal dancer and assistant artistic director with Odyssey Dance Theater and teaches dance, choreography, as well as aerial training with Defying Gravity Utah. “I would like to thank my ever-supportive husband, mother, and three boys for holding down the fort while I continue to live my performance dreams and stretch my artistic wings.”

Janzell is bursting with joy to join the Hale Centre Theatre family with this production of Frozen! Aitana’s favorite credits include: The Prince of Egypt, The Magician’s Elephant, The Little Mermaid, The Secret Garden, A Tale of Two Cities, and AIDA with HCT; In The Heights with West Valley Arts; Little Shop of Horrors and Guys & Dolls with Utah Festival Opera; 1820: The Musical at the Covey Center as well as the Jimmy Awards in 2014 for AIDA. “I am excited to share the stage again with my sister, Brookelynn, after ten years! We’re back!”

Breearna is overjoyed to join the company of Frozen! Some favorite stage credits include: A Christmas Carol 2022, 2023, & 2024 (Fred’s Wife/Poor Wife) with HCT; Into The Woods and Disney’s Beauty and The Beast (Belle) with West Valley Arts; The Removalists (Fiona Carter) and Grease (Frenchy) with The Australian Acting Academy; Cat Ballou (Cheyenne Rose) with The Jackson Hole Playhouse as well as productions of Phantom of the Opera, High School Musical, and The Pirates of Penzance. Breearna earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Dance Theatre from BYU. Breearna hails from Brisbane, Australia! “Glory to God.”

Ashley graduated with a BA in Broadcast Communications from The University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster College, and teaches private dance for Hale Centre Theatre. “This is for Isla!”

Making her HCT debut! Poppy is thrilled to join the company of Frozen and perform with her mother! Previous stage credits include: Annie (Lulu) with Ogden Musical Theatre and The Empty Pot (King’s Advisor) with CenterPoint Legacy Theatre. Poppy loves drawing and is currently pursuing a career as a face painter. She studies Musical Theatre at CenterPoint Legacy Theatre. "I don't even know a Samantha!"- Olaf, Frozen 2. 

Karina is honored to join the company of Frozen. Some of her favorite credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Oklahoma! (Gertie), and A Christmas Carol (Belle/Laundress) with Hale Centre Theatre as well as Anastasia (Anya), Little Women (Jo), The Sound of Music (Maria), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Narrator), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Christine), Guys & Dolls (Adelaide), Oliver! (Nancy), Les Misérables (Cosette & Eponine), The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), and Into The Woods (Witch & Cinderella). Karina has performed around the globe at Walt Disney World, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, Universal Studios, and Epic Universe. "This one is for Lirenza and Keegan and Doctor Dog, forever my Anna, Kristoff, and Sven."

Rachel is excited to be back on the HCT stage! Her favorite credits include: HCT - The Prince of Egypt (Miriam), Hello, Dolly! (Irene Malloy), The Light in the Piazza (Franca Naccarelli), Guys and Dolls (Sarah Brown), The Music Man (Marian Paroo), She Loves Me (Amalia), and Les Misérables (Cosette); Sundance Summer Theatre - The Music Man (Marian Paroo); HCTO - The Secret Garden (Lily) and The Addams Family (Wednesday Addams). She studied English at UVU, and when not on stage, she is a pilates instructor at Studio Core Pilates. And for my own real life Disney Princess, Pearl Rose.”

A familiar face to our HCT audiences; Kelton’s HCT credits include: Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik), Around the World in 80 Days (Phileas Fogg), Titanic The Musical (Thomas Andrews), Treasure Island (Dr. Livesy), The Secret Garden (Dr. Neville Craven), A Tale of Two Cities (Charles Darnay), Murder on the Orient Express (Samuel Ratchett/James Arbuthnot), Cinderella (Jean-Michelle), and The Scarlet Pimpernel as well as An American in Paris (Adam Hochberg) and Ragtime (Younger Brother) with The Ruth. Kelton holds a BA in Media Arts from BYU and works as a Multimedia Manager at BYU. “Thanks so much to Emilie and Nellie for helping me make my theatre dreams come true!”

Y’all are my biggest cheerleaders and I couldn’t do this without you. Love you!”

Jayden is thrilled to join the Hale Centre Theatre family with this production of Frozen! A man of many disciplines, Jayden performed as an NBA Utah Jazz Dancer for the 22-23 and 23-24 seasons, as well as a National Champion in Latin Rhythm Ballroom I & II, and works as a Cheer Coach with Cyprus High School. He also owns his own dance costume and apparel company, JJ Custom Designs. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain!”

Returning to the Centre Stage! Becca was recently seen in our production of Footloose. Other favorite stage credits include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl), Treasure Island, Elf The Musical, Bright Star, and The Addams Family with HCT; Little Women (Jo March) and The Odd Couple (Cecily Pigeon) with HCTO. Becca earned her BFA in acting from UVU and is represented by Talent Management Group.

McCall is thrilled to join the company of Frozen! Notable performing credits include: Footloose and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, right here at Hale Centre Theatre, Oklahoma! (Ado Annie), Thriller! with Odyssey Dance Company, and the World Premier of Fly More Than You Would Fall (Dance Captain), directed by Jeff Whiting, as well as performing at BYU with Contemporary Dance Theatre and The Young Ambassadors, where she toured across the nation, as well as London and Scotland. McCall is a recent graduate of BYU with a BFA in Music Dance Theatre. 

Ryan is a Resident Director here at HCT.  His recent directing credits for us include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Hello, Dolly!, The Little Mermaid, One for the Pot, and The Play That Goes Wrong. Ryan is also a familiar performer on our stages, notably starring as the Cat in the Hat in Seussical The Musical, Passepartout in Around the World in 80 Days, Mr. Wormwood in Matilda The Musical, Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and the titular role in The Nerd. He has also taught acting at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University Theatre Departments.

Afton loved choreographing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as well as The Nutty Professor, Hello, Dolly!, and the North American premiere of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom the Musical. Afton had the great honor of receiving Choreographer of the Year at The Dance Awards in Las Vegas in 2023. As a renowned choreographer and teacher, Afton has been dancing ever since she can remember. Trained in every style of dance, she has been privileged to dance and teach all over the world. At the age of 9, Afton made a Blackpool Final and was ranked 6th in the world in Ballroom dance, one of the first Americans to accomplish this. While growing up, she received numerous dance awards and taught at national conventions, including JUMP and West Coast Dance Explosion. Afton was a principal dancer in the first ‘High School Musical’ movie. Afton has been asked to perform several times on Dancing With the Stars and was hand-picked to compete in the DWTS Pro-dancer competition. For two years, Afton performed in Franco Dragon’s Le Reve at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, where she was also the dance captain. For more than a decade, Afton has directed the Ballroom and Jazz companies at Center Stage Performing Arts Studios. Her choreography and students have been seen on popular TV network shows including America's Got Talent, World of Dance, The Masked Dancer, So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancing with the Stars. Her choreography has won first overall in the nation multiple times. Center Stage Performing Arts Studios has won Studio of the Year and Top Ballroom Studio at The Dance Awards two times under her direction. While dance has brought Afton many opportunities and accolades, she considers her greatest accomplishment and joy to be being a wife and mother to four. She has enjoyed cheering on her husband, Zack Wilson, in his shows at Hale Centre Theatre throughout the years and loves that their kids get the opportunity to watch both dad and mom work at such a beautiful theater. 

Alex Marshall, M.M. Instrumental Conducting, B.M. Piano Performance, is a highly regarded music director and performer with decades of experience. From 2007 to 2025, Alex served as the Music Director for the University of Utah Department of Theatre, where he contributed significantly to establishment and development. He is an active member of the professional music community in Utah, regularly performing with prestigious institutions such as the Utah Symphony, Pioneer Theatre Company, and Hale Centre Theatre, among others. Alex's international performance experience spans France, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, and New York, including multiple engagements at Carnegie Hall. His recording credits include The French Masters (2025), Passion of the Soul (2023), and David Park Plays Fritz Kreisler (2020), all released under Centaur Records. Recent stage credits include Bat Boy: The Musical (Salt Lake Acting Company), Souvenir (Pioneer Theatre Company), Spring Awakening (University of Utah), and the U.S. premiere of The Magician’s Elephant (Hale Centre Theatre). In addition to his performing and conducting work, Alex is honored to serve on the Board of Trustees for Hale Centre Theatre. Alex expresses deep gratitude for the unwavering support of his family: Jackie, Kimi, Henry, and Penny.

Prior to joining the stage management team at HCT, Katie served as a project coordinator with Universal Creative, supporting the development of the new Epic Universe theme park in Orlando, FL. Prior credits include work with Celebrity Cruises, Universal Orlando Resort, Central Florida Community Arts, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Disneyland. She has her BA in acting from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. 

Nate Bertone is a NYC-based theatrical storyteller who has worked internationally as a director, designer, playwright, and producer. Nate recently made his West End debut designing Christina Aguilera's new musical, Burlesque. His work has been seen at Lincoln Center, Disney's D23 Expo, Google, the Sydney Coliseum, and regional theaters across the country. At Hale Centre Theatre, his design work was recently seen in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Prince of Egypt, and Finding Neverland, Sister Act, and will be featured in our upcoming productions of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, My Fair Lady, Joseph…Dreamcoat, and Anastasia.  As the Associate to 2-time Tony Award-Winning Designer Beowulf Boritt: Be More Chill (West End/Japan), Crazy for You (LCT), Superhero (2ST). Assistant to: Harmony, New York, New York, Freestyle Love Supreme, A Bronx Tale (Broadway). Recently, he co-produced the new musical How to Dance in Ohio on Broadway, Your Lie in April on the West End, and Co-Produced/Directed/Designed the Australian tour and London Production of Alice in Wonderland. His plays Letters From War and The SeaView Nursing Home for the Newly Deceased are currently in development. Nate's children's book “Nana Nana” was published in September 2024 and was created in benefit of Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen's Hilarity for Charity and The Alzheimer's Association. Jen is thrilled to collaborate on her first Hale Center production and be part of this exquisite production of Frozen. Jaron has been the resident Lighting Designer for the oldest operating summer theater in the nation: The Cape Playhouse, where his credits include Little Shop of Horrors, The Importance of Being Earnest, Deathtrap, Clue, Altar Boyz, Steel Magnolias, Art, Red, The Foreigner, Murder for Two. Collin is currently a student at Utah Valley University pursuing his BFA in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Lighting Design. He has been the lighting programmer at Hale Centre Theatre and has now taken on the role of Associate Lighting Designer. Collin is excited to join the team in this role and help bring the magic of theatre to the community.

Michelle has always loved telling stories. Being Native Hawaiian has helped her gain experience in events from a young age. She decided to dive into finding out more about sound and how it functions. This path led her to her MFA in Sound for the Performing Arts from Purdue University. She has designed shows from Utah to Indiana, toured the United States and Central America, worked with touring groups from Olivia Newton-John to Pentatonix, and has worked many local performances in multiple states. Michelle loves theater and being able to use sound to help tell the story. She currently serves as one of the Sound Commissioners of the United States Institute of Theater Technology (USITT) and is a member of the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA). She'd like to say: “Thank you to my outstanding sound team and all of your hard work!”            

Kimberly Quiroz is thrilled to make her debut as Properties Designer for Frozen! A lifelong art enthusiast and former children’s art teacher of 12 years, Kim has spent the past three years with Hale Centre Theatre, crafting props and designing the intricate displays in our lobby, which you probably have snapped a photo of with you and your friend.She believes in the magic of teamwork, and you can make dreams come true with a little hot glue, glitter, and pixie dust. One of her favorite projects on this show was when she and her team sculpted and molded Olaf eight times without losing their cool (although some projects are worth melting for). Kim loves anything sparkly, shiny, or magical, and finds joy in all things perfectly imperfect. Kim is endlessly grateful for her supportive husband, three amazing kids, and her family and friends she has found throughout her life.

Some of Candice’s favorite hair and makeup designs for HCT include: Steel Magnolias, Always...Patsy Cline, The Little Mermaid, Around the World in 80 Days, May We All, and Disney’s Beauty and The Beast. She is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School, where she has been an instructor since 2008. She also works as a resident designer and cosmetologist for the HCT Hair and Makeup Department. “I would like to thank Trisha, Krissa, and Marneé for helping me grow as an Artist and Designer. I also want to thank Adam, Cordelia, and Gabriella for being so supportive of my dream to work in theatre. Kiss Kiss!”

Nick serves as Hale Centre Theatre’s Head of Automation and resident Automation Designer and Programmer. Of the many shows he’s been a part of here at HCT, his favorites include: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Treasure Island, The Little Mermaid, Titanic The Musical, Fiddler on the Roof, & Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Beyond HCT, Nick once held a rewarding career with Disney Live Entertainment as a Senior Show Control Designer where he had been instrumental in designing and programming sophisticated show control systems for large-scale spectaculars such as Frozen, Live at the Hyperion, Fantasmic!, numerous castle firework displays, and most recently, Luminous: The Symphony of Us at Epcot. He also had the absolute privilege of working with Walt Disney Imagineering, programming show control systems for landmark attractions, including Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Matt has been creating a YouTube video series called Cai and Kate for children to help identify and cope with anxiety and other emotions. He was the Puppetry Director for Warhorse during its run at Lincoln Center and for the North American tour. Matt was also the director and curator of the annual St.Ann’s Warehouse Puppet Lab with Krissy Smith.

Fergus has won awards from the Henson Foundation and the Irish Arts Council. He was part of the team that won a Drama Desk Award for Sophisticated Puppetry for SAGA. He has been an Artist in Residence at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City and is an Associate Professor of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut.         

Kristen Anderson-Lopez's Broadway credits include: co-creator/writer of In Transit (Broadway's first a cappella musical) and Frozen. Other theatrical works include Up Here (La Jolla Playhouse), Finding Nemo: The Musical (Disney World, running since 2006). Film: Pixar's Coco (Oscar® Best Original Song win for "Remember Me"), Frozen (Oscar and Grammy Award® wins for "Let It Go"), Winnie The Pooh. TV: songs for 87th Academy Awards (Emmy® nomination), "The Comedians," "The Wonder Pets." 2014 recipient, and now proud board member, of the Lilly Awards. Upcoming projects include Disney's Frozen 2. Williams College grad, BMI Workshop, Dramatists Guild council. She lives in Brooklyn with Robert and their two daughters.

Jennifer Lee is the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios. She is the Academy Award®-winning writer of Walt Disney Animation Studios Frozen, which she also directed with Chris Buck. It became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, worldwide. For her work on Frozen, Lee received numerous awards including a Golden Globe, a Critics' Choice Award, a BAFTA Award, and an Academy Award®. She wrote the book for the Broadway stage adaptation of Frozen, receiving a Tony Award® nomination for Best Book of a Musical, and wrote and co-directed Frozen 2. Her Disney Animation career began as co-writer of the Oscar®-nominated Wreck-It Ralph. She also wrote the screenplay for Disney's 2018 release, A Wrinkle in Time.
